I tried their online help which is as useless as the member account site (which gives NO Information about your purchases and subscriptions other than the title of them), and finally in exasperation I called phone support. Just recently I got a Mac, and was unable to download my software for weeks. I wanted to upgrade last year for work I was doing for my students at school, and was moved into a subscription. I have been a Power Director user for years.

If anything meaningful changes I wilI Update the review. With the software side of the equation being so ambiguous really do your homework on both businesses. One star is for anyone who thinks that you could just plug and play this player be warned. I would have researched software options prior to. i wish I had read trust pilot prior to purchase.

According to cyberlink you can't do a patch to help with that because its not a paid version. come on Pioneer 8 yr old software to watch newer uhd releases in a new product. At least That's when they released last year. (Thats having to buy software for uhd to function) It came with a cyberlink software suite (14) There at (21) currently. I guess I'll find out once someone gets back with me if that's the case. It talks about uhd and more at the $59 mentioned above. Call the number on the site and you get a different company who couldn't answer that question for fact or could I see it in writing. I looked at the cyberlink site and seems they want $59 month/year site doesn't say. Pioneer support who then has to talk to cyberlink who at this point has not responded. Called Pioneer they need a 5 digit code it only Gives 10 digit codes. I did my homework on this as far as requirements and such, checked all the boxes. I bought a Pioneer uhd player/burner (newest model March of 22) for pc from the Pioneer store.
